Water based lubricants are the most versatile of all the lubricant types as they are safe for all sexual activities, even for use with our silicone toys.
The main ingredient in water based lubricants is (unsurprisingly!) water, and it is because of this that they are free of any smell, taste or colour and are non-staining.
Water based lubricants also have the added benefit of being incredibly easy to wash off after use, leaving your skin clean, silky smooth and free of any residue.
When using water based lubricants, it is sometimes found that they can dry out a little. At this point we advise that you either re-apply more lubricant, or by adding a sprinkle of water you can help to re-activate that smooth and silky feeling.
